support local

All of our honey is unpasteurized and 100% Manitoba honey. Much of the honey you find in grocery stores is heated, pasteurized and is often blended with off-shore honey. Supporting local not only benefits your local farmers but is also a great way to cut down on your carbon footprint!

Our beekeeping story

Bailey became passionate about bees and beekeeping at age 14 after reading a book in grade 8: “The Secret Life of Bees”. From there Bailey began researching and learning all she could about honey bees. The following summer she somehow convinced her parents to allow her to get one hive and she has been expanding her apiary ever since!

In 2014, Bailey’s grandfather started assisting her with hive checks and the honey pull season. He calls himself “the worker bee”. Bob is a retired aerial applicator and now enjoys checking on the apiary almost daily.

Just this year, Bailey’s mom decided to put on a suit and learn first-hand about the bees! She has always been a huge help in the background but is excited to try beekeeping for herself!
